MY PERSONAL INTEREST
I have always been intrigued by coding. I always had thought of it as a way to hack mainframes and security networks. But website coding is a new experience that I was curious on trying. I use my computer everyday for a substantial amount of hours. And websites are on the screen 90% of the time. It was time for me to learn what I was using.

PROCESS-PLANNING-ACTION
In the beginning stages of the project. I had a very brief outline of what I was meant to do. I knew practically nothing about coding a website. Nevertheless, I began my research. I learned there are 2 main coding languages which are the building blocks of a website. HTML and CSS. Considering this, I began thinking of what type of website I wanted to create. An article/blog website popped in my mind and I began researching formats. This fitted best with the global context of Scientific and Technical Innovation.
At first, I started continuing my research. When I had felt confident enough on HTML, the first layer of coding a website. I began testing. I used various forms of 'beginner' websites which allowed for mistakes on coding to be fixed automatically and a small template of what to code. Over time and practicing, I began experimenting and slowly coding the full website. Already a few sessions in I had successfully coded the HTML block, and was able to move onto CSS. This was the hard part, all the small details, text and colours had to be coded in. I found a small problem with the pictures, and had to figure out how to format them into a specific size to properly follow the way I wanted my website to look. After many hours, I had finally coded my first website. All I had to do next was buy and host a domain.
I'm a paragraph. Click here to add your own text and edit me. It’s easy. Just click “Edit Text” or double click me to add your own content and make changes to the font. I’m a great place for you to tell a story and let your users know a little more about you.

MY CRITERIA
This is the criteria I have created for my project.
The final product must be a fully functional website. It must also have a certain style (I have chosen modern and minimalistic) and format. There must be a working article complete with all features normal websites have. There must be a menu, images and hyperlinks in the website.
The article must be long enough in order to fit a 'read more' button. This will also ensure that the article has enough space to take up a significant amount of the site space. There must be a specific theme to the article, (Coronavirus). I have also chosen a few extra amenities to give the website a more technological and natural feel. This will include a statistics menu, a sources menu, and a recap and or summary of the article.
The website should be fully functional and working on the world wide internet. It should have a clear domain name relevant to the topic of the article and also a working host server to provide connection between the server and the user.
There must be no bugs or misinformations on the website. The website shouldn't glitch and should work on all platforms regardless of the OS. The images must also load and not fail to bug on any laptop, computer, or phone.
The website must be clearly seen as an HTML + CSS coded page. Those are the two main coding languages, and must not include any other languages which haven't been chosen to use before. The website must have its own aesthetic and color palette.
